Butchers shop in the heart of Cholsey Oxfordshire.
The Butchers has been here since the mid 1960’s and we took over the shop in 1995 carrying on an important village tradition.
In the early years we sourced our stock from far & wide but recent years have seen a great increase in demand for locally sourced food with lower food miles.
Thankfully we have been able to meet this demand with the help of local farmers & producers and we are now able to source most of our Meat & Game from Oxfordshire & Berkshire.
We also stock a wide range of other produce including Greengrocery, Cooked Meats, Black Puddings, award winning Cheeses, local Bread & Cakes, local Honey, Macsween Haggis and a little fresh & frozen Fish.
